Look Ma, No Hands!
For sale is a 1972 Schwinn Super Sport. I had John Zeni completely restore the bike in 2015. Check out the 100+ pictures of the restoration process at http://johns-recycled-bicycle.blogspot.com/2015/07/joels-schwinn-super-sport-restoration.html.
This Super Sport is a 1972 in Opaque Blue. I found this bike at a Boys and Girls Club and the paint was in decent condition with the usual nicks and scratches. I wanted John to color match the paint and touch up the scratches and he did a really nice job. The bike looks and rides great but is not perfect. The buyer is going to have to be okay with the touch-ups.
Since the restoration, I changed the cables to braided silver which really look great with the Opaque Blue. The Brooks saddle has never been touched with Proofide and looks/feels brand new.
