This is a 1973-74 Dawes Galaxy 25" frame.
As pictured.
Only the triangle is 531 on these frames, the rest is their Chro-mo offerings. still quite light.
It will need a full resto mod. It is crunchy, but will wake back up with new paint and transfers.
The original Dawes company survived the English Bicycle consolidation of the 50's and then sold in 1979, so this is an original OG company frame. Straight with no dents. 120mm rear spacing.
There was another in yellow, in the same condition that I refurbed last year and now its my favorite commuting bike. Very nice frames.
