On Training Wheels
1975 Motobecane Champion Team in Team Orange color.
This vintage bike was purchased new by a friend of mine who was a winning Masters rider. He put many miles on it before succumbing to Parkinson's. I would love to sell it to someone who would love it as much as he did. It is pretty much as he sold it to me (other than the saddle), and has just been tuned, lubed, and all cables replaced. My bike/frame guy thinks $1600 USD is a reasonable price, so that’s it.

Nice bike for someone taller than me! A couple of notes- the brake pads need to be switched around so that the closed end of the pad holders are facing forward, so that the rubber blocks don't slide out under braking forces. You probably knew that. And if I'm not mistaken, those are Weyless pedals. Good luck with the sale!- Phil

Hi Phil: Thanks for the comments and good wishes. I did notice the brake pads and swapped them so we're fine. One collector told me he thought the pedals were Suntour, and they do resemble newer Superbe, so he may be right. George
