That is a really nice example of a 1981 built Typhoon. I didn't see scratch on it. The crank arms look really funky, what's up with that? Maybe because it was built during the strike?

maybe they saved the good cranks for the Cruiser 5's. it was the end of Chicago Schwinn's, probably a few substitutions were used as thy ran out of parts
