Look Ma, No Hands!
if these flashy full color magazines with semi catalog sections and full race reports are any indication, the beloved Schwinn Reporter newsletter went through a major change in early 1981 (as compared to the 1960's through 1980 smaller folded newspaper style of theseolder Reporters)
These new quarterly mags are more of a journalistic magazine than an industry newsletter. They feature the exploits of Schwinn racing teams, details of some of the more prolific models such as the Paramount, Voyager SP, and King Sting, lovely full color photos, and in the case of the 1982 edition, a super rad cover with elves riding a Stingray, a Middleweight, a Mag Scrambler bmx, and a brown Continental (and the same themed back cover with an Xmas twist).
*All of these catalogs came from a closed Schwinn dealer called Kings Cyclery in Casper, Wyoming that I bought out. Everything was ordered directly from the Schwinn factory.
Condition
Excellent to near mint shape with just a bit of wrinkling to the covers.
