Depends on the month, frames were still made in Chicago up to (about) April '83, then production went to Lawrenceburg. Fork looks right.

Looking at these pictures again, in the fifth you can see where the chain stays are welded to the bottom bracket, so it's a Chicago-built frame, which is probably what @GTs58 was referring to. The rims look Murray, though. It would be interesting to know the month/year of the serial and the date of the head badge stamp.
