Hahahaha....Right...1995 ????.....Red Black Phantom....Thanks for the laugh.

It is true ;this is not the bike U think it is. There was an issue in 1995 of Cruiser Deluxe with Centennial black Phantom frames and 7 speed Nexus internal hub. That USA, Ontario CA built Centennial frame is the exact frame and paint as the 1995. I've owned one for years. Your bike is an Anniversary (China built frame) that is probably made 1999-2002. Your Frame and paint scheme also appears on other versions of Schwinn's Cruisers without anything special.

Value? Subjective as to who's buying or selling. They're virtually the same bike except for the frame, none optional locking spring fork (The 95 is the BP 1952 repo fork, has the hole for a lock but is covered W/black plastic cap) and the type of seat U have on yours. The Centennial frame bike came with a Black vinyl comfort seat Marked 'Triflte' ( Actually I can not make out what is says for weird font used) and 5 buttons on rear of it. Your Springer fork is the repop of the 1955, none locking and pivoted on the sides that Schwinn made and used on their Deluxe versions until just a few years ago when made even cheaper. . U can not mount an old style pre-1955 balloon fender on it whereas U can on the 1995 BP and pre 1955 Springer . .

Here's one that's just like mine. https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/1995-schwinn-cruiser-deluxe-7.114844/

Personally I dig em B/C it's a real Black Phantom repop frame and paint that's all modernized. Schwinn should have sold more like this B/C they were only 500 bucks and did not make/sell as many of the Cruiser BP's vs the full BP's : And it's like a joke against the full repop for $3 grand, where U virtually get less for 6 time the money. . :p

If that is a question the answer is no. It's not a reproduction of anything. It's just a Chinese made Schwinn Cruiser DeLuxe.
That's not exactly correct either.

The 1994-5 Classic Cruiser, Twain/China including the topic bike and the various versions of the 100 Anniversary Taiwan/China Schwinns including the crap made today, are 1955 reproductions, (repops).

The main difference being that the 1995 Black Phantom repop is billed as a 1952 reproduction.

Cept Schwinn's 1995 repop Classic Cruiser is a bit of BS Because, the fenders are not as wide as original 1955s were.
Yet, the difference that did happen in 1955; the Springer fork was modified and then named: "New Style" Springer. all Yur Tiawain/China frame replicates , for the most part, the Cantilever made for several years and Springer fork are a version of the 1955 "new Style".

Back to the 95 Cruiser Deluxe, it has the Phantom type wide fenders with screw on (No light bucket) fender light, Phantom type 52 tooth sprocket, which appear to be on this 2000 Cruiser Deluxe too. This 2000 version does not have the 1995, 1952 "Old Style" Springer and for that alone front fenders are not inter-changeable. Not interchangeable on 1995 Phantom, Cruiser Deluxe and 1952 Phantom.

Move into the 1960's all the way into the 80's and it's all 'New Style' fork and narrower fenders. Moreover, The Classic Cruiser and so forth are not 1955 but 1960 and when with a front fender light, a blend of the last made, circa 1959 option .

Regardless if U go by Catalog and or Schwinn's printed information then, it's a reproduction of 1955 and, "not exactly" too. . .

And here's the 2000 catalog for the topic bike: "Classic 1955 Schwinn design Cantilever frame"

In 1995 and forward Schwinn did a number on the new versions, with multiple names that are more screwy than Louie in Mazooly.
