ive been kicking this bike around for a very long time.. .. i realized I didn’t know who made this...Is this a Westfield built or .? Any ideas?

Davis-Built.

The 20-inch wheel models were made using one-inch,
non-lugged tubing .. or 7/8'', lugged.

Your machine is likely an Elgin Junior .. as it has a
chubby-spoked chainring and a fork crown that is
identical to the non-truss H-D fork. That fork was
relegated to jobber machines .. from the few that
I have seen.

All Davis-Badged juvies (including the H-D) had single-
plate fork crowns.

The Davis juvi line .. 20'' thru 26'' were not serial num-
bered. They also were not pinstriped.

Am showing some pics of my 20'' Davis-Built .. which
had badge holes filled with debris ... when cleared of
all the dirt, the badge holes line up with the H-D badge.

Correct fenders for these tiny rides have the very flat
rain-gutter cross section. The 1''- tubed, 20'' H-D,
museum specimen sports very-wrong fenders.

Included here are some snaps of oldnut's (Ron) model
519, one-hundred % original, 26'' wheel H-D .. used to
be mine.

The non-camelback specimens .. like yours or mine are
the most seldom seen.

Happy New Year ....

Wow!....talking about totally out of left field!.....I didn’t realize it’s a Davis made bike or even thought it was a Davis made bike...... I’ve been looking at this bike for 15yrs I even threw it out at a swap one time and then changed my mind.... ha...Ha....thank you for your insight.... now I it looks different for me. I have fenders that can be made for it....that’s when I get to it.. :0
