Very early 1938 1st year prewar version of the Mesinger B-1 Deluxe Saddle. Features unique spring chassis posts,
check out the pic w/o chassis. Also 2 piece springs, top and bottom half, opposing pinch pan
tabs as the long spring pans were, Long spring type nose coil hold down to front stud. Uncommon
very early seat that could be found on 38 Schwinn Motorbike and others. Leather is pretty dry
and seperating some at edges.. also has a very minor chassis repair. Chassis is also unique
to this early saddle in design from subsequent B-1's. Borderline restoration candidate or
display only is best.
