Being Offered: two rare, original period, paper advertising broadsides (posters).
    1. The first is for Victor Bicycles by the Overman Wheel Co. "If you ride, why not rise the Best? There is but One Best-VICTOR." "In Line with the Best. Catalog for the Asking." A beautifully composed ad with the line of riders with "VICTORS" spelled out in the jerseys. Matted size approx. 9 1/2 by 14 inches, 19 by 25 inches in period oak frame. Not examined out of frame; very fine printing on textured laid paper. 2. The second advertising poster is for Alton Wheel Bicycles, by the Detroit Carriage Goods Company, Detroit, Mich. This poster has great details of rear sprocket, hub, saddles, Oxford and M. & W. tires, along with the Gentlemen's and Ladies' specifications for each bike. Size: 15 1/2 by 22 inches, unframed, light yellowing overall, minor soiling and small staining, fold creasing overall. Price: $150 shipped from Hershey, PA
