20" schwinn DX questions

I picked this up the other day and was wondering if anybody had any info on it at all. The wheels were originally cream with black stripes, and i know the seat is wrong. I have not seen another one like it, and me being a stingray guy this is a little out of my knowledge range.

1950,should have cream drop centers with black pinstripes, badge was the first name used by Arnold,Schwinn and Co., all the way back to 1895.
