Wore out three sets of tires already!
Here is a cool early bike rack for 28" motobike style bikes of the teens-30's. It's pretty crusty but still solid. one of the top straps seems to be missing and the mounting bracket looks a little Mickey Moused. This rack could be homemade? Would go well on a bike of similar "patina". $50 plus ship I take pay pal. Please PM me if interested, Paul

I dont think its home made I have Two of them, each a little different. One is a seat clamp mount and the other a seat stay mount.
I don't know what they came off of, I bought one long ago to put on a tote goat that I sold without it and the other came with a group of bike parts I purchased.
With the heft and sturdiness I thought that perhaps they were intended to be a frame for a second seat on bikes and motorbikes. Similar to the old Schwinn Child seat which is heavy framed and wooden. Or perhaps a heavy duty base for a delivery bike.
Never seen any others till now.
