I live for the CABE
This looks like a decent price for a rim with that needs little tic. Epoxy wood consolidate and epoxy filler could put this on the road again or certainly would be usable for display. It works in some pretty serious structural wood repairs on boats and houses, why not bikes?

Epoxy sounds totally the sort of thing I would do. The two issues that concern me are being careful to not epoxy the nipples because the difference in density of the epoxy vs the wood may totally throw off the balance of the wheel.

Mind you, I haven’t dealt with wood bike wheels; I’ve just done a lot of questionable stuff in the past.
