3 bar Hawthorne

Got this 3 bar cleaned up and greased good solid bike. There's not much information on these are they rare? It's a one owner .

As post war bikes go I’d say these might rank as ‘rare’ or at least uncommon. The problem is they just aren’t that desirable. About five years ago at Ann Arbor someone had three of the girls version of this bike and I don’t think they moved. V/r Shawn

Not designed for a tank. The early 1950’s bike should follow typical HP Snyder serial sequence numbering system. The 24-tooth chain ring sprocket likely makes pedaling easier.
