Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Here are 3 pair of nice 28" x 1 1/2" United States Rubber Company No 76 Giant Chain single tube tires. Tires are soft, supple and hold air. Mold flashing and nibs are still present on most. No attempts have been made at any real cleaning so they could likely use a wipe-down with some water and mild soap or maybe even some John Deere Ultra Guard for protection, but that'll be your call. Even reproduction tires are getting painful to find so don't miss out. Take your 28" bike to the next level with these sweet, fully functional 28" single tube tires. [SOLD] Pair A came off a Wheelmen's safety and were likely NOS when put on. Tires are soft and supple with no cracking and very little wear if any. Mold flashing and nibs are still present. A couple spots of yellow paint are present so further cleaning will be your call. A spectacular, original pair of tires. $295 plus actual shipping in the US.
[SOLD] Pair B also came off a Wheelmen's safety and were likely NOS when put on. Tires are soft and supple with very slight cracking and very little wear if any. Mold flashing and nibs are still present here as well. A spot or two of green paint are present so further cleaning will be your call. Pair C is a mixed set with one tire looking close to NOS and one having some wear. Tires are soft and supple with the nearly NOS one having a crack from where it was hung on a hook (See last picture. I inflated the tire and held the crack under water while squeezing with no air bubles present from the crack but this tire may not hold air for a long period of time). Mold flashing and nibs are still present on the nearly NOS tire. A nice, original pair of tires. $255 plus actual shipping in the US.
