Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Hi everyone,
I wanted to show off this delightful haus painted Elgin lovely lady~ Westfield built M Serial number with no overcode as-yet-found, potentially as early as a 1934 model. Nice specification, 26" triple drop centers with ND SM front and ND D rear hub, tires fitted as found are 26" x 1.75" which will be swapped for 2.125". Nice stainless steel fenders with provision for rear skirt lacing. Dropstand with incorporated tabs, and rear clip. Correct for ladies Torrington BBJR stem, ladies Torrington North Road bars. Very nice correct ladies long spring Troxel seat with stamped logo wings and toolbox tabs on rear, in excellent original condition. Prior owner painted the seat frame, luckily only a little paint got on the underside of the saddle! Skiptooth Westfield sweetheart style front gear, with Pinball Wizard chainguard, pedals are nice condition period but may be a juvenile size, I need to look at these closer.
But for the cherry on the Sundae~
A really nice red glass and aluminum art deco eye reflector in super nice shape!!
Hope all of you Cabers are having a nice day today!
Looking forward to Bicycle Heaven!
Nate
