Most of these that I have seen in the past have flat braces on the fenders and have a drop stand. So it's strange to me to see this without that gear...could be correct original parts....just not the norm as was typical for mead at times. Cool as hell though

That would explain the forged stem, the fender braces &..
I don't think those are Schwinn handlebars you
might want to confirm with one of the experts.
