A question for the experts.
Are those the correct fender braces for a 36?
The woman's 36 I just stripped has flat braces. It seems I have seem both types on this year. Which is more correct, or are the both right?
The men's 36 I'm working on has the type braces as this bike. Did it have to do with the model?

That serial number sure looks 38.
The crank says 36.
Everything else says 37.
