McCauley Cycle Works
Truly a piece of 1890's bicycle unobtanium up for grabs, don't fall asleep at the wheel!
Designed and fabricated by B.T. Parsons of Camden, NJ in or around the late 1890's.
Ultralight, perfectly filleted throughout. Love at first sight for anyone that appreciates this era of bicycle machines.
To make things simpler, the bolt pattern fits Fauber cranks of the same period.
Chainwheel measures just over 13" across and shows next to no wear, my guess is this is an extra, take-off, or possibly NOS ring.
Purchased from the prolific Curtis Anthony, only selling this lovely piece to help fund a bike I am very excited about.
Stamped "Parsons Camden N.J." with a very interesting club image in between comparable to the club later used by Colnago.
The black oxidization appears to be over clean nickel plate, I have not cleaned it.
The price for this is $1,000 shipped CONUS
International shipping is available at the buyers expense.
