It’s now for sale! 1941 schwinn dx with springer, perfect riding bike. Hubs and bearings all rebuilt and chain freshly oiled. Springer rebuilt and holds me (180lbs) fine. Comes with a padded messenger and pedals off a 40’s girl’s schwinn. Frame has the tube that stops the fork from hitting the frame. Wheels are prewar schwinn and are blue but had been hours painted black. Tires are newer and tubes are brand new. Has a 9 tooth rear cog instead of a 10 tooth, as well as felt cruiser wide handlebars. Please feel free to ask questions. Asking $500 plus shipping. Local pickup preferred Joliet Illinois.
