The pre-war forks are slightly different.
'46 & '47 at least used "Fatter" at the top truss forks; that ride awesome.
It looks all original to me.
I think it should sell in the $500 range around here.

just glanced at the fork-it does look prewar. not just the truss rods.(have they been shortened?) the headtubes are different(prewar/postwar)-there must have been some 'adjustments' but bike looks totally original. are there 'dimples' on the inside of the fork blades? top race looks later to me. these immediate postwar Schwinn's are always interesting. lots of one year stuff about them. neat bike! love the patina. please preserve this bike!
