I'm a DX guy, but looking at this'47 excelsior straight bar and don't know much about them was wondering what you all might think it's worth? Thanks

Come on, someone has to have an opinion on this? Anyone interested in it if I can't get it? Give me some ideas of value???? Thanks

just glanced at the fork-it does look prewar. not just the truss rods.(have they been shortened?) the headtubes are different(prewar/postwar)-there must have been some 'adjustments' but bike looks totally original. are there 'dimples' on the inside of the fork blades? top race looks later to me. these immediate postwar Schwinn's are always interesting. lots of one year stuff about them. neat bike! love the patina. please preserve this bike!
