49 Girl 24" - truss rods or not?

In 1949 the specs for bikes, especially a 24", probably not written in stone, but I wonder if this bike was more likely to have left the factory with truss rods or without. Any opinions?

Also, what was the last year Schwinn installed 1" pitch rings?

Most likely no truss rods. 1 inch chain disappeared before the mid 1950s. Roger
