49 Shelby

Just picked this 49 Shelby Flying Cloud yesterday. Appears to be all original. I figure the Delta taillight is an add on. The horn and headlight had never had a battery put in until I did last night to test them. They work just fine. Haven't tried to clean it up yet.

That's a nice Shelby. I believe that the taillight is original to the bike. Here's a catalog page from 49-50 that shows the taillight was used by Shelby.

Wow. Thanks for the information. The bulb is missing out of the taillight but the rest appears to be there. I believe it never had a battery installed in it either.
