Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
these may have been put on a bike, or maybe just 70 years of storage. you decide. brake pads have shelf ware, but it does not look like they ever stopped a bike.
I have a couple sets of these, they all look like they were in the War on the losing side. This set is way too nice for any of my bikes. 🙃 These are for a tubular fork, like a Springer or Truss Rod fork. NOT a blade fork.

pics tell the story. one of the ferrules for the cable housing came off and will not go back on. see arrow.

those are thecorrect ones for a tube fork,the ones with the set screws are the hardest ones to find,the black pads have higher stoppin power than the red ones cause they were made to stop a heacyweight,most of the black pads say schwinn on them,look up the books,i think they starting offer them in 1940 as acc,hard to find with all the pieces there.
