The blue Corvette is missing the chain, chain guard, pedals, front rack and headlight. The headlights are usually missing but the other parts add up quick if you have to buy them. I'm with sworley, $150.00 tops for the Corvette and that's because the paint and chrome still look good. The Jaguar looks complete except for the headlight and the horn in the tank, so $350.00 sounds right.
I agree with everyone else on the Vette, $150 is fair. If he still has the parts for the Corvette, it is closer to a $300 bike. It is a hard to find color, I’ve found to be. I would be on the higher end of the $350-$400 of the Jag. I just bought a red ‘61 in similar condition for $375, and it was also missing the front light. And those models did not have the rear phantom style light like the one you have.
Schwinn middleweights are on the rise, especially the tank bikes like Jaguars, Panthers, Hornets, etc.
Location also matters a lot, I see a bunch of good deals never sell just because they’re out in the middle of nowhere. That all goes away if you’re willing to ship.
