Nice bike indeed....actually released as a 55 Corvette model, although some may have a 54 serial number. Locally that is a bike I could have interest in.

I'm in San Diego, actually is'54 numbers, but realeased in'53 by my resaeres

Probably a late 54 number which would make it an early 55. There are no 53 or 54 corvettes. The number was stamped before the frame was built.

Maybe you can post a picture of the serial number for the prospective buyer to figure out the year.

If the seat and the 2 speed bendix are original to the bike, that can only be a 1958 Corvette. It has a 58 only mesinger and the first year for the 2 speed option was 1958.

Nope, original 3spd bike with rear brake, someone upgraded along the lines, seat is original to bike from what original owner to old me!! Pick thy own conclusions...
