3-speeder

Wore out three sets of tires already!
I would like to find a 3-hole mounting black J C Higgins Lightweight chainguard for bike pictured below. It has two tabs near the chainwheel and one at rear. Thanks for the help.

I have these two guards that I believe are from JC Higgins bikes like yours, except yours has two mounting tabs in front and these are made for frames with one mounting tab. I think either can be made to work on your bike. Your bike might have been made for their full coverage guard. You can have either of these guards for $20 plus shipping, or $30 for both. The one on top has a small rust hole.

Thanks for the reply. I'll think about it.

I saw that bike on eBay. Pretty beat up. I think that the black bikes came as the standard, no frills model. I can only find them in the '60 - '63 catalogs and they had chainguards similar to yours. I could be wrong though. This bike was in rough, stripped down condition so who knows. I'll probably see what I can find at the swaps this year or make one work that I already have. Thanks for your help.
