I know a tube for a balloon tire will work on a 26 x 2 x 1-3/4" tire so maybe a 1.75 tube will work with a 1.5 tire. Never had the chance to try out the combo you're dealing with. Maybe stay under the maximum inflation pressure that's on the tire?

Unless you are trying to make the correct Id just find a generic set of 26” middleweight rims that use the easy to find (cheap) tires. V/r Shawn
