78 Lime Green Sportabout

I found this bike at the local thrift store looks like it has very nice paint and the entire bike would clean up very good, is it worth rescuing or should I leave it be?

I got it so cheap I couldn't pass it up and I got a white continental and a western flyer 23 inch 10 speed with it, the lady really wanted to get rid of some bikes so she practically gave them to me

It's a newer model ladies bike that is definitely not a Chicago made Schwinn, it was too cheap to pass on so it will be parted or sold

Sorry it's a Collegiate not continental, and its definitely a China bike the sticker tells me so! It had a nice Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub and shifter so I grabbed it too, the Western flyer was really clean so in the truck it went, the Sportabout just looked really original the tires are dry rotted badly, but are Schwinn Nylon Breeze Sports Touring and it even had a color matched cable with it I just have to cut the combo lock off

And sorry I know the Western Flyer isn't a Schwinn but it's a cool bike none the less, I plan on giving them a good bath in soapy water and a little rust cleaning, I'll take the parts I need off the Collegiate and probably scrap it or make yard art with it, and I know you guys usually dont talk about prices you gave but I got all 3 of the bikes shown for $31.80 plus a foam cup full of strong Folger Coffee, so yeah I couldnt let them stay they came with me!
