I picked up an 1985 Cannondale SM600 project mtb.
After many hours on ebay I believe the correct front derailer would be defined as :
1) high mount
2) bottom cable
3) side pull
4) 31.8mm seat mast
I already bought an incorrect front derailer so now it's my attempt to purchase the correct one.
Once I figure out how to post some pics I'll post pics of the original Suntour XC and the Sram X9 I believe will work.
