I was thinking about pulling the trigger on this one and getting one of those nos tanks that seem to have an inexhaustible supply but then I remembered I have 9 lifetimes worth of projects already. I've been eyeing that one as well. Seller just lowered the price too

No tank needed IMO. I know it's been painted, but it was done so long ago it has a nice weathered look to it. Lace up some 700c rims & be on your way. Pretty sure its a 28" wheeled model by the look of it.

Well somebody just grabbed it. I agree that it doesn't need a tank, in fact when I looked at pictures of this bike with the tank it kind of dampened my enthusiasm for the project. I was going to modify the tank so that it ramped up on the bottom corner kind of like an early Dayton tank.

I found a home for one of those tanks on this bike. I think it is a 1935 Westfield.
