Finally riding a big boys bike
I tend to do a lot of riding after work, and sometimes that gets into dusk/evening territory. Unfortunately, lighting systems from the 30s-50s tended to not work that well. I recently picked up a couple of very small “retro” LEDs to add night visibility. This is the first application, the rear carrier on my 1940 Ave Hollywood. The original reflector was shot, the glass missing and the frame beat up. The light fit nicely into the recess and it just takes a couple of watch type batteries and is pretty bright. One click for flashing, and one more click for solid light. Now…if I could just figure out how to get decent output from the headlight.
