So I missed out on the Rivendell Bleriot.
Snooze you lose.
That was such a beautiful bike...
Isn't that pretty?
But...
I did get another that was my first choice, until I saw the Rivendell.
I still have an itch for two others in the crowd but I think I'll put my nose down on the beauty I brought home.
I'll post it when I have it fitted for my use.
One of the things that needs changed are the stem and bars. I have the bars but I'm looking for a period correct stem that is a correct style.
The year is 1950.
The bike is a handmade English Club type that was built to buyers spec. Any "better" stem was available for "fitment" when new.
I'm not super familiar with all the old styles and companies. Except SA, GB etc.
Requirements are;

- adjustable would be nice
- 25.4 bar
- longish quill, > than 5" but can make do with 5"
- 70mm reach minimum
- English or French. No Italian stuff.
- nothing later than 1960
