Hey all,

Thought I'd pose the question here, is there a good way to fix the finish on this sprocket? I'm assuming that the best option would be to remove the finish and re-plate with nickel.

Thanks.

I'd just clean and preserve it as-is. Yes, there's some plating loss, but it doesn't look all that bad. You also have moderate wear on the chainring teeth, which to some degree limits the life of the part. I'd clean, oil, and run as-is while you look for a cleaner version of that part to keep as a back-up.
