I bought this book on the history of Paris Texas where the Alexander Rocket Bicycles were made!
Unfortunately no pictures of them. But I wanted to learn more about the town. Very interesting!

This rocket I bought last week is different than any other rocket I’ve seen anywhere. Here are some pictures from different angles. It’s going to take some time to get road worthy but it’s going to be a fun project!!
I’m honored to own this bike! I feel that the more of these I can reunite together the better. Together they tell a story with the other Alexander items I’ve collected.
These bikes bring me joy especially when I can tell people about them. I hope to continue adding more rockets.

Never before seen by anyone but Jerry Nelson who removed them from Alexander’s shop, myself and my son but NOW on public display is an ORIGINAL rocket bike jig used to make the frame and fork, and original unused frame rails from a rocket bike! Nothing else like this exists for any other type of bike! We are so excited to have these in our museum for public display! 48538 van dyke Shelby Township Michigan Tuesday through Saturday 9-3.

This clock was behind the front counter on the wall in Alexander’s shop. Jerry got it when he bought everything in the 80’s. Now in our Alexander museum.

Link to the Alexander advertisements I helped find
FINALLY!!!
I have wanted to track down original advertisements, news paper articles etc for John Alexander who invented the rocket bikes and scooters I collect. I’ve been trying for over a year to find anything, especially 1939 and World War Two era.

Well, after traveling over 17 hours with my 5 year old son Aaron and with the help of our friends Jerry and Lisa Nelson. And a LOT of help from Mrs Shirley Bridges of Paris Junior college for her research on my behalf, we now have an original 1939 advertisement with the Original design fork for the rocket bikes, AND a 1939 picture of John Alexander!
No pictures of him were previously published in bike collecting circles!!! This is so exciting for me!!
