Can anyone give me some info on this bike like age and value. What is the best thing to clean up the frame with? i have had this sitting in my shed for 10+ years and ready to do something with it.

1935 or 1936?

1935 or 1936 I am pretty sure. Wards hawthorne, made by Monark. Good thing is that it looks pretty complete. I would think it is in the 500 to 900 area price wise. Don't see the chainguards very often. Should just clean up with rubbing compound and a lot of elbow grease. you could use something with some grit in it, but it might scratch it a little? Marc

It looks alot like my 35 and its in good shape.

I found a number stamped in the frame. is there anywhere I can research the history of it. Thanks
