    If it had wheels then I was up for it, skates, skateboards, bicycles whatever...

    Here is myself, my brother and some neighborhood kids holding races I am guessing about 1970 or 1971. Marx manufacturing was in my home-town and they started selling these "Big Wheel" tricycles about 1969. I remember we rode them so much we wore the front wheels right away, they were hollow plastic. I had a 20" "muscle-bike" at this point, but it was there and it fit the racing-class so I was on it.

    About 1974, my "muscle bike" which I got when I was eight-years old is looking pretty beat now. At one point I remember putting a new Huffy seat on it because the original broke. We used to jump over ramps we made from boards and cement blocks etc..
