Wore out three sets of tires already!
picked up this frame with no badge. Pre or post war?5 inch head tube. Any comments appreciated, thanks

Looks like a post-war (no drop stand ears) CWC "3-gill" frame, but it may have been badged Western Flyer, from the outline of the head badge.
Did the rear fender bridge change from prewar to the post war type in early postwar years or 50's? One detail that changed on these frames.

I don't know. I've been trying to find out when they added the plate for the kickstand between the chain stays, it must have been post war but I still haven't found the year. Somebody on here knows, but I'm still learning.
