Riding my '38 Deluxe Bluebird
Got this bike as part of a large lot of teens and TOC bikes we bought at auction a few weeks ago, and looking at her we knew she was the perfect candidate for an OA bath. Turned out great! Love the patriotic red white and blue. She even made it to a show today, as Nick’s gf’s ride. She will be for sale, message if interested.

That is incredible! The color really pops and it looks fantastic. Did you possibly consider putting a thin clear coat on the paint to also bring back the shine? Would that have even been possible in this case?

Most wouldn't want to do that, because if you clear coat it, you can no longer call it original paint. Wax or a similar concoction keeps it shiny, preserved, and original. :)

Oh, okay, I see. I haven't ever thought of it that way, but that is a good point. Thank you for your take on that, and great work on this one!
