Another little green Pierce

-

C M Gerlach

Wore out three sets of tires already!
I horse traded for this a while back...color intrigued me.....came incomplete without wheelset, but I have enough parts to get it together someday....
Looks like an early angola built with serial on rear dropout......typical emblem flakey top paint over red primer.
Cool olive color with red box pins...too bad it's not more intact, but still sorta there.
Top tube has an unusual bend, but frame shows no sign of trauma......wonder if it was done intentionally? or a weird accident.
Any input on the frame shape is appreciated.

Never seen one either, and I have a few.....maybe some block walkers know something.
Is that factory? It’s the first one I’ve ever noticed like that, but I don’t walk around the block too often.

looks like the bike survived some trauma. the fork looks a little tweaked, as well as the head tube.
Maybe,....... fork is in without bearings, and I would think head tube would look worse with that much of a bend on top tube. head tube or fork doesn't look that bad in person, camera angle and no bearings make it look worse....certainly not a factory bend.
