Another pierce home with a nice suprise

Brought this back as a throw in on a multiple bike buy.
I was just cleaning up the serial number and found original paint.
i got interested, and took an hour to see what i could find under the black overspray.......awesome original green....some faint boxpins lurking under there....gonna take some work, but love this color, post if you have an odd colored pierce, I've done a bit of research, never seen a green.

I have never understood why everyone uses 0000 steel wool when cleaning up old bikes. What a freaking mess it makes, I personally hate that stuff. It also leaves rust all over the place along with the mess. Scotch brite pads is the Y2K way to go! The gray pads are the same as 0000 steel wool. Try it, you'll like it!
