Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Another rainy day, another day in the shop. Took the rear wheel off the Hawthorne and fixed the New Departure . It still worked, but not good. Someone down the line took it apart and forgot a few disks. This is a nice old survivor and rides well.
Painted the chain guard that Rico sold me for $2 bucks.
Going to install on the 47 Schwinn that a buddy gave me.
The 47 is a nice rider. Yeah, I know, it's not original. It's got the Wald fenders on it from Memory Lane, but it's a fun bike to ride. That's what the hobby is about.
Thank God for hobbies. I'd go nuts staying home without them. See them spoons on the work bench? Going to teach myself how to play spoons. Check out "Spoon Lady," on You Tube, playing " Mrs. Jones". She's awesome.
