Another unknown chain? anyone 1920's,30's

This chain came from the lady 28" Rollfast. This chain has a nut and bolt master link and the emblem on the link is like a shield with a U in it. Is there a thread for chain ID's I couldn't find much. Thank You all. Kirk

Believe it's a Union chain.

Did Union they make chains that long ago? I thought the same thing but not sure.

The company that became Union was founded in Germany in 1899, eventually becoming 'Union' in 1905. Bicycle chain was the first product to come out of the factory in 1899.
The shield device featuring the 'U' has been in use since 1905 I believe.
