The serial number says its a Huffy, probably a convertible. The first digit in the serial # is usually the year it was made, so the first digit is a 9 making it a 1959. Thats correct if Huffy used the same serial # pattern on the kids bikes. It looks great :)

Pretty sure it's a Huffy, here's mine

I'm pretty sure it's a Huffy. Below are some pictures of my 20" Huffy Mainliner that I restored.
You can use these pictures as a reference. I found mine in the garbage about 25 years ago, complete with the tank & rack.

Dave -Ridingtoy

Hi Dave, thanks for the compliment. Somehow I knew even back then
that it was a sin to throw something like this out.
Also, on another note...Thanks again for the spokes for my VeloKing tricycle.
I have not had the time to restore it yet, but when I do, I'll post pictures...........Wayne

You're certainly welcome, Wayne! Look forward to seeing your Velo all fixed up. For that matter, I'm looking forward to seeing my two Velos all fixed up again, too. I've had them disassembled for so long I can't even remember how long it's been.:( Though I have all the parts stored away and labeled...even have diagrams sketched up to show how the wheels need to be laced.

Dave
