Finally riding a big boys bike
I'm guessing it is from Europe, any thoughts? Thanks!

Chainset appears it may be Thun. Check backside of arms and centre section of spindle for markings.

Pedals likely either WECO or Union.

Rear hub will be Torpedo.

Wonder if it is a German marque or if it may represent a contract build done in Germany for a chainstore.

There was a period on the 1950's when the exchange rate made it feasible for German makers to do contract builds for North American customers.

Will make some checks and report back if anything found.

Thanks for posting! ;)

I don't think Raleigh or any other GB company built tankers. Could be wrong though.

No suggestion that they did.

Common for house brand machines to be supplied by more than one vendor.

Black Knights were European, often they have a "Made In ___" decal. There were a bunch of companies, largest being Steyr/Daimler/Puch, that made these style bikes over there. Very little is known about the smaller co.'s, like Bauer.
