This is the most "modern" bike I ride on a regular basis - 1992 Trek 750. About 6 years ago, I upgraded the entire drivetrain to Shimano SLX with a 10 speed cassette, rapidfire shifters, Velo Orange crankset, and Phil Wood rear cassette hub. These 750's have lugged, True Temper frames made by Trek in Wisconsin, and were the same frames used on the 520 touring model.
