Anyone know anything about Lambretta scooters

Looking to buy this early D model with restoration started but I really don’t know much about this model. All or most ot the parts are there.

Looks like a '57 or '58. What are they asking? I had one like that once, it was hard to keep running. They're trickier than the newer ones to work on.

Are all the parts there? Does it currently run?
I got a running one in better original condition than that a few years ago for $850. That's a little steep IMO
