Does anyone happen to know what the ERD is for one of Noah Stutzman's wood rims. The 28" (700c) size.
I need it for calculating spoke length.
Thank you.

Hub makes no difference when figuring ERD. It's basically the diameter of the inside plus the lengths of the nipples.
I just would like to buy the spokes before the rims get here.
Would it basically be the inside diameter plus twice the thickness of the rim (wood) at the spoke holes?
On the other hand, if one adds the length of the spoke nipples, then perhaps it would depend on the length of the spoke nipples?
I was being general about the technique, but if someone has a set of Noah's rims and doesn't know the ERD already, maybe you could do this for me and we'll both know
Try: this method, it works great and is very simple :
Would really like to be able to calculate the spoke sizes ahead of time, so the spokes can be here ready to go when the rims arrive.
Surely someone has figured out the ERD by now.
Anybody?
