Identified Anyone know who built this ranger frame? Westfield

Am I right in thinking it's kind of wild that this is a Ranger (the decal is clear) frame considering Westfield "typically" restricted its use of forged fittings to its Columbia line?

I agree, the early pope/westfield forged rear axle slots take longer to braze/finish and it surprises me they used a pair so late on an old moto frame.

Looks like @gkeep has one of these Westfield Motobikes, but it has the sleeved joint for the middle bar. Both Iver and Westfield appear to have the smaller diameter middle bar and full tube shaped chain tensioners as well as similar seat stay cluster to the frame in question. Is it just an optical illusion or is the bottom bracket on yours smaller diameter @Hastings ?

If it helps, here are some shots of my 1927 Westfield frame. Those rear dropouts sure look Westfield.
