1946 Schwinn - bicycles - by owner - bike sale

Vintage Arnold Schwinn "The World" model. Serial number matches Chicago built Schwinns. I believe the year is 1946, give or take a year. Skiptooth drivetrain.

Turns out they are all prewar! 26” girls-C23255(1939?), 24” girls-E31599(1940?), 26” boys-H39888(1941?). Anybody interested in either girls bike?

Im not really sure. I found a website with prewar SNs thats why I thought that.

I concur with @tripple3 the DX is a '41... That B1 is worth the price of admission alone! Lots of great parts and a solid bike as a whole. The girls are postwar... the rear drops are the telltale sign... @GTs58 is correct C '47 and D '48 on the girls
